    • 100,000 sf renovation of high rise structure with office use

    • 10-story steel structure

  • Renovation of a high-rise office building in downtown Boston creates new work environments for public agencies charged with building and maintaining urban infrastructure. Complete reworking of interiors on all ten floors includes extensive code-compliance renovations. To foster shared collaboration among multi-discipline professionals, glass-fronted offices and conference rooms, open planning, and low panel systems furnishings maximize daylight and transparency in team workspaces. Code compliance work includes fire protection and life safety upgrades, elevator upgrades, and full renovation of stairs, elevators, and restrooms. The fully-renovated ground floor lobby extends outdoors with a new entrance canopy. Large-scale graphics and models representing public works and buildings realized by the agencies promote the mission of infrastructure stewardship and enhance staff morale.
